Collected Distillation of Wood Labs - checked off papers as I collected them.
Showed flow chart of Separation of Mixture Lab.
Went over vocabulary: filtrate, residue, solute, solvent
Handed out Make Your Own Element Worksheet. Students worked on it while other students went in pairs to view and sketch crystals. Students finished Separation of Mixture write-up and handed it in.
